This time, I'm going to deliver the Young Class Report.
Twelve young actors who will lead the future within 5 years of their debut gathered at a vocational school in Tokyo that was the venue.
The first thing Joon-mo said at the beginning was that he wanted to make this place a “place of discussion.” I'm still studying myself. It's OK to interrupt the conversation, so after preface that I want them to actively ask questions and opinions, the participants introduced themselves.
In introducing myself, I shared my career, my own issues, concerns, etc. with the participants. Each person spent a considerable amount of time sending questions and specific advice in response to that.
Joon-mo and Lee Chun-joo listen intently to the participants.
The phrase “cheerful and bright voice” was uttered many times during the program, changing expressions. A “cheerful and bright voice” is a voice that reaches the entire audience through a microphone and protects the throat from performances 8 times a week. This class focused on how participants understood what it was like and what kind of training they could learn.
What was particularly impressive was the story, which was approached from the difference in pronunciation methods between Japanese and other languages.
When Joon-mo appeared in a musical in Japanese, she was logically explained from her experience of not being able to speak as expected, and efforts to overcome them were noticed and overcome, and it was a great learning experience, even in terms of an attitude of facing issues.
A few people came forward and tried singing the assignment song, and the 3-hour (10-minute break) workshop ended in no time, with practical content.
Joon-mo takes off her jacket and instructs the participants.
