A workshop for actors planned by “Iron,” which carries out planning and production and is also the host of the drama unit “Unrato.” Actor Yang Joon-mo from Korea will be invited to conduct voice lessons in musicals. Speaking of Joon-mo, he is a person known not only for his activities in the Korean musical world, but also for playing Jean Valjean in the musical “Les Miserables” performed in 2015 in Japan. As an instructor in Korea, he is also making efforts to train juniors, and has also been appointed as a university professor.
In Korea, there are overwhelmingly more universities and vocational schools where you can study musicals than in Japan, and education methods are also quite sophisticated. This should also be a new opportunity for actors who have deepened their studies in Japan.

Learn the “positions” for making a voice in musicals

There are 3 classes this time. Generally, experienced people 18 years or older are targeted, and there are “young classes” for actors within 5 years of their debut, “basic classes” for careers within 10 years, and “advanced classes” for careers of 10 years or more. The lesson content is common to all 3 classes, and the theme is “positions” for making a voice. Musical actors active in Korea will also participate, so learning while listening to realistic voices will be realized. Also, a “lecture (Japan-Korea actor exchange meeting)” will be held in between workshops (there will be 2 interpreters, so don't worry if you don't speak Korean). It is a project where not only training and discovery as actors, but also encounters and exchanges between Japanese and Korean actors.
