A one-week intensive course on acting held at a small local theater

This is a class where you can concentrate on taking basic classes on the acting technique “Sanford Meisner Technique” for a week. The lecturer will be Seri Kurosawa, who has been teaching this technique for about 20 years. The appeal that Kurosawa feels about this technique, which focuses on the “relationship” between actors, is “a technique for valuing what is born while being involved with the other party rather than thinking that the emotions of a role are 'within me'. That's why plays that are supposed to be lies become true if they focus on emotions. I think this is also an interesting part of theater.”
What you'll learn this time is the basic part of the 90 hour program. With support for local theaters, it will be held at small theaters such as Ninshuku-cho and Dorigiza in Shizuoka, Tsukigata Rehearsal Hall in Niigata, and Wangan Theater Hakata Oyster in Fukuoka.

I want to share as good information as possible with those people, and I want to be useful.” In fact, the current situation is that it is not sufficient in regions other than Tokyo and Osaka. “You should be able to learn what you want to learn no matter where you are, but teaching acting is quite difficult online, and when it comes to people going to that place to teach, it costs a budget. So I wanted to take advantage of this art caravan satellite opportunity. If the people who participated this time shared their experiences in a good form, I think it would help bring excitement to theater in that region.”
